Over the years, Grasslands have invested a lot of time and effort into developing successful dairy farm managers.  We believe in a life-long learning culture and emphasis is placed on the development and training of our staff.

• Annually, a number of top students with a passion for the industry, are given the opportunity to complete their Inservice Training component of their qualifications with us.   We focus on the core areas that we believe is required for an individual to become a successful farm manager and we support the students through training, mentoring and continuous coaching.  We understand our business requires individuals passionate about the dairy industry and that the successful candidates require resilience, commitment and a long-term focus to make a career of Dairy Farming.    We belief dairy farming is a lifestyle more than just a job.
• A number of these students, have over the years remained in our employment and today they are running some of our farms. This programme forms an integral part of our succession planning and the success of our business and students who display potential, have the opportunity to join our team as Graduates.
• We invite prospective interested students, to submit an application (including a short motivation as well as academic records) to staff@grasslands.co.za.
• We also recruit annually directly from the training institutions.
